driver stuck

africangrey, sorry for hijacking your thread.

Roger, you where right, the 7410 was causing the beeping through the splitter. Before I unplugged the 6100 to stop the beeping; now with the 6100 on its own the 7410 is the one chirping. I was out of vinegar last night and didn't pull the 7410 apart but I will tonight. I hope it will be an easy fix/clean on the 7410 and I will leave the 6100 separate until the 7095 is out. When is that due? I am leaving for a week so if I am still having problems with the 7410 next week I will let you know.

Thanks Roger, I would of been lost on this one without you.

Yeah, the splitter problem is rather obscure. The signal can bleed over to other pumps on the circuit and cause problems, they just added some filters to correct this on newer ones.

The 7095 is still on schedule for Sept/Oct.

Update... I got home yesterday, cleaned the 7410 (it has been unplugged since I left on vacation), left the 6100 flying solo, and no beeping.

Thanks Roger... you may have saved my marriage.

Worse, a toilet. Take it as a warning, if you have any old commodes with those plastic wing nut secured hoses that connect to the wall spigot replace them. It just snapped last night and I found it at 6am and even though I cleaned up all the major water myself- must have been 500+ gallons, the water extraction team and mold preventitive cost $1000- with a $950 insurance deductible  What really sucks was that was next on my to do list, I had already replaced the other two commodes with the new air assist type and 1/4 turn solid brass valves with braided SS hoses. Just the last one to do and I was to late.

Yeah, that's what my folks said too but mopping up water in the wee hours is no picnic and being out a grand sucks pretty bad too. The worse part is it went onto my laminate floors that I installed myself 4 years ago and the insurance agent tells me they are a lost cause though I was able to get a 1" copper pipe under it and have a blower positioned to blow under it. They say it won't affect my rates to claim since I have never made any claims but they did warn me that if my roof were to collapse tomorrow I have basically filed my free claim and will be out of luck. I don't know what to do. The walls are OK and I am not the type who makes claims or wants a freebie. I even tried to see if they would just buy me the materials and I do the labor and they said no way. Strange that they won't let you save them $1000. I already saved them $1500 by removing all the floor boards and moving all the furniture and doing the initial mop up. Damn, I'm tired and the day just started.

drive stuck

Hi Roger,
My other 6100's is stucked can't yank them out at all, can I sent it to you to replace the drive unit, how much would it cost.
It's the very first batch of 6100's which has some kind of defect with the drive being stuck often, I have soaked it in Vineager at least once every month.
Spencer
