Drontal plus?

The only praziquantel my vet has is "Drontal Plus" The ingedients are, praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate and febantel. Pyrantel pamoate is active against hookworms and ascarids. Febantel is active against nemotodes including whipworms, according to the instructions. Does this sound like the praziquantel people are using for internal parasites or should I be looking for straight praziquantel? thanks.

Generally straight prazi is being used. I have used the pyrantel pamoate with some success, but have no experience with the febantel.

Thanks for the reply. The pyrantel pamoate you used was it in conjunction with praziquantel or on it's own. Thanks again.

It was on it's own, with some carob for flavoring :D Was the only dewomer available in a store I was working at when I needed it ;)
