Drug interactions?

Got a Red Sea Regal Angel with gill flukes started coppersafe cuz i couldnt get cupramine on Dec 24th and want to know if I can use Prazi with coppersafe. I thought copper would take care of the flukes or am i wrong. Is Prazi just more effective? Suggestions?

Copper is limited on the flukes it will kill, Prazi is much more effective, but is also limited. I've used Coppersafe and Prazi in the past together with no issues.

Prazi works well for flukes but it takes multiple treatments and is a slow process. I know people don't like to treat in the DT, but after much reading, I treated in my DT and didn't lose a single coral or fish. I had to do a couple of FW dips to get flukes off of the eyes so there wasn't permanent damage. I'd do it again if I dad to.

I don't believe copper does anything for flukes.

I hear you. I hate FW dips. I only fresh water dipped because the flukes were on the eyes and I didn't want permanent eye damage. I don't think there is a max amount of dosages of prazi. It is a slow process but it does keep the flukes at bay while they are being eradicated. There are quite a few threads out there explaining the process. Good luck.

He does have them on at least one eye but he is very active and still has an appetite so maybe the prazi and copper will do it.

Prazipro for sure and I have used it more than once in my DT with corals and inverts with no issues what so ever

Seems good, i have had him for 4.5 weeks now and he has steadily been putting on weight. I dont see any signs of any disease at all. I lost the Starry Blenny less than 48 hours after dosing the prazi and wondered if it was due to the combo of prazi and copper or just a weird coincidence. He found a place to hide and stayed there for days never coming out for anything until 4 days later when he came out, spazzed out and died almost instantly. Both were acclimated together so I have no idea why he died.
