Dry tank storage

I had to break down my 75 gallon reef tank and downgrade to a 29 gallon tank due to space issues in my home. I kept my 75 gallon tank so that hopefully I can set it up when I have some more space. Currently I have it setting the in corner of my garage. What is the best way to store a tank for a couple years? Should I leave it in my insulated garage or could it set in in uninsulated metal building I have? I am mainly concerned with the seals failing on the tank if it is not stored properly. The tank is a 75 gallon marine land that was factory drilled.

When I moved into this house, I didn't have a place for my 150 long (72x24x20ish). It was ~ 10 years old at the time. It sat, on end, in the unheated attached garage and was used as a storage bin for my garden tools until the basement was finished. That was about 7 years. I rinsed it out, leak tested it for a week or so, and put it in service. I had it up for about another 8 years after that until I sold it. It is still running today AFAIK.

As long as the glass doesn't get broken, the silicone will be fine,.

I put my 110gal in our garage, which is in the Florida heat (no ac out there). A couple of years later I put the tank back into use and it's fine.
