Hey what size thank is that... a 125? :p

Dude... those shots do that tank no justice... you need to put your dog in the tank or something.

When you mention it, it does look small in the picture without anything to reference. I'll put my wife's pomeranian in there, should make it look even bigger!

so is that the fish room behind it looks like lots of space very nice. What kind of lighting and flow you going with ?

Chuggy, the room behind measures approximately 10x12 including the footprint of the tank itself. Should be plenty of room.

As far as lighting goes, I will be running 3 x 250W MH's and 4 x 72" VHOs.

I am going to have to work on flow. I will be running a dart return and 2 x Tunze 6100's. The plan will be to add another 2 6100's or 2 x 6055's

I took these just for you TJ.
Haha... that's awesome. I love the depth on those tanks. I'm glad you decided to leave one of the sides viewable.

Hey Steve, Unfortunately, not much new to report. I have been traveling pretty much Mon-Fri for the past few weeks so its been tough to get much done. Thankfully Sean came over and taped everything. Its pretty much ready for the final skim coat and it will be ready to primer and paint. Once that is done, my travel schedule is winding down a little so the pace should improve.

Been meaning to get in touch with you about the roto-zip to cut out the hole for the vent.

I am working up a design for the sump. Initially, I am going to use a modded 75g but would like to go with something like this in the near future. Gonna have to chat with Keith

Since the tank stand is 42"H, I want to utilize the space underneath the best I can. I am limited by access so I am thinking a 2 piece system would be best. I am trying to increase the volume of the return section as large as possible to allow for water changes while the return pump is running.

I posted these in my build thread but thought I would share here as well. Things are progressing.

Color doesn't look right in the photo but you get the idea. A few little odds and ends and we are on our way....
