Well, sort of...it has some minor plumbing issues "still." James (or anyone for that matter) if you're still interested in lending some advice and assistance, I'm open to suggestions. First I have to say, is this hobby supposed to be relaxing...I can't remember a time I had more anxiety than when the water was going in...and when I plugged in the pump...good grief.

ai-reefer: the time is getting closer for me to come get the rock...I hope by the end of this week the setup is tweaked...

Have a look: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16115956#post16115956

I also setup a 58gal the past few days which is going to be a freshwater planted tank...so yeah, two tanks at once, not the smartest thing...

Nice set up Id love to come see sometime. Anytime you need an opinion or some help on something hit me up. Im probably pretty close to you. I may not be a pro yet but I know my way around a sump set up reef tank pretty well.

This is a pretty sweet tank.

You can check Amano Takashi's aquarium design to find some ideas for your LR. it's pretty cool.

Looks like everything is doing good John. Did that green acro you got from me make it? I lost about 15 colonies when I switched tanks, so I may need to buy a frag from you when it grows out.

Yep, all the frags I got from you are doing awesome...and a couple have put on some pretty good growth, and I haven't been dosing...and I'm embarrassed to say I haven't done a water change in a long time, meaning, uhh, I haven't done one since the tank has been up...now I probably gone and jinxed myself...

That's great. I am glad to hear it. I know several people who have gone the no water change route and had success. I did them on my 55, but not very often. Now it seems that this 140 is evaporating 5 gallons every 2 days, so water changes should not be too hard throw into the rotation.
