DSB opinions

[Dux Hunt]

I'm transfering my 45gal corner to a 75gal in wall and thinking of doing a deep sand bed in the new tank.

I know there is plenty of reading material on the subject, but I was just trying to get a feel of some personal experiences and/or suggestions.

I love my DSB, had no problems transferring it from a 55 to a 90g. I like the diversity of creatures living in it. I like the natural look of it. The only thing I was surprised about was I still had nitrate problems (trouble keeping them below 40, till I added a fuge (last time I tested, .25).

I have 4-7" of sand throughout and have never had any nitrate problems or otherwise. Nassarius love it and keep it nice and stirred up. The DSB holds base rock in place. I'll be setting up a larger tank shortly, and will go with DSB in that as well.

Forget the Pros and Cons because you will hear different opinions on both and they will believe there way is the best so I went with what I thought was the most pleasing to the eye witch is a DSB witch of course is my opinion
Go with what you like the best because your the one that has too see it every day
