DSB or no?

hey guys i was wondering if i should go with a DSB or not,ive read about it and saw it has good and bad things with it,i like that it will eat up mitrates from the tank there by making my water even more stable though the bad as ya know is it can be rather toxic in a way....what do ya guys recommend?

also my fuge area is prtty small,its maybe 12 1/2 wide 5 or so long and 10 high

DSB? Yes. In the display? No.

Stick one in a 5g bucket and use it remotely so that when it fills up with crap (and it will), you can take it offline and toss the sand, refill it and start again.

Never do a DSB in the display. too much risk for tank disaster down the road. I know many here are doing a remote DSB, but i wont ever touch them again. dont see the need with the tech we have today such as fuge and coil denitrators and the carbon dosing.

yea and like i said i dont have much space in my fuge,i have a boat load of chaeto from sean in there and will hook up and have my reactor running by saturday thanks to jen
