Yes I have, but I am not sure one could be considered a replacement for the DSB.

True. I wouldn't use it as a direct replacement, just a form of nitrate reduction. The one thing I don't miss from the DSB is sand all over my corals and the fact that every frag that fell on the sand was dead in 15 seconds. :)

yes,yes, I know. too much macro. It's that big carpet in the corner, it's eaten too many tangs to count!

What a wierd looking, great tank. I love it.
