Hello Chingchai,

If you said to me please why you have the salinity 1,025 in your tank. Is even better for coral and fish? have you done with then salzgehalt (1,025) better experiences? Here in Germany we drive almost everything always with 1,023.
Do you also have topical waters evaluates from you?

Greeting denniskaan

Hi Chingchai,

Can you please identify the purple coral?

Regards,

Hesham

It is some kind of Algae. It has dark red color with orange glowing tip.
I don't really know proper name.
It grows on the Scolymia.

When I add Tang, I will remove it from the display tank.

Nemastoma sp.

I have some in my tank also (growing on a Scolymia skeleton) but it never gets that large due to herbivores.

Found your thread a few months ago Chingchai and it has re-inspired me in the hobby!

What a wicked build! I just lost one hour of my life going thru this post (and skipping a few pages!).

Do you accept visitors? I'm coming to Thailand next week for a month.

Hi Dennis,

I don't think there is much different between 1.025 or 1.023.
It would be fine just to keep it stable at your desired level.
Natural Sea Water here is unstable. No good.

Cheers,
