DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Chingchai at the suggestion of nineball I have spent apx24 hours over the last 2 weeks reading every post of this thread including before the split. I must say you provide a shining example of this hobby and what it is truly about. Your tank is something all of us can aspire to create. You and Peter have jointly given me the courage and drive to consider a 200-300 gallon build in the next 2-3 years. More importantly after seeing your tank my wife has agreed to let me pursue this obsession. So I feel I owe you a debt of gratitude. I hope someday to make it to Thailand to see this wonder for myself. Again Thank you and congratulations on creating what I feel to be the best this hobby has ever seen.

Chris

Chris. Thank you for your kind words.
You are more than welcome to see my tank and our country.

Chingchai
I spent a couple of days reading your thread before posting. Your tank is simply amazing!
Thanks for sharing with us.

This year I will be in Thailand, I hope I have the opportunity to meet you.

Augusto

Augusto. Thanks a lot.
Look forward to meeting you as well.

This is one of those times where you actually beat the limits of human imagination. None of us could possibly imagine your softie tank as it sits right now. What a spectacular result Chingchai. This is art in its truest form my friend. Very, very inspirational...........

Peter

Peter. Your kind words always make me happy.
Thank you so much.

After your initial build I can't remember water quality ever being an issue for you so you must have been doing something right.............OR I will ask you to buy my next lottery ticket for me!!!!!!!

Peter

That sounds interesting.
Just give me 2 digit number you have in your mind.
I will buy lottery for you.
In case it wins, we have to share the prize. Is that okay?:D

Chingchai, if I may ask? If you were to describe your display tank, apart from the depth, what word would you use to suggest your style?

So far I have identified fruitstand, canyon, bonzai, lagoon to name a few examples of styles that are identifyable.

Peter

Well, I would say " Mountain of SPS ".

The number is obvious Chingchai, someone on this thread will know why. If anyone asks, I got it from the "babel" fish. As far as wining goes I want you to keep all of it my friend......as long as we meet up for a glass of wine I will be happy!

Okay. Whatever you say. Peter.

i may not be remembering the exact right words but it has the look that is called " cloud mountain" in bonsai? kind of the look of those vertical mountains you see in china.

Awesome........you are sooooo right!!!!!!!! Cloud Mountain it is. It really fits....I am reminded of those mountains as they also appeared in Avatar.

Perfect,
Peter

One of our club member asked me about what kind of fish food I use.
So I would like to share it here as well.

Chingchai, i am seriously thinking of getting this Dialyseas product. Can you take a look at it and tell me what you think? It says that its good for a 2,000 gal tank. My plan is to take your example and change 200 gal per week forever or untill I die....whichever comes first!!!!!!

I'm also thinking of the automated filtration 10 micron system as well. It looks like it would function similar to your socks I think and reduce maintenance.

Ok since no one got the reference.............the number is 42 the answer to everything in the universe from "The Hitchikers Guide To The Universe".

Use this number in good health my friend..........but lets keep it our secret!
