DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Your tank is "truly awesome". I recently upgraded to a 180 Foam rock wall Penisula , in no small part down to your tank. It is nowhere near as beautiful.....but one can live in hope!!!!!

Thanks Tyrenlds, let's see what Ching Chai has to say.
Ching Chai the green coral in the last pic can you advise what coral is it.Is it always closed.I have two types of it Oink and green which I bought las time from BKK.Both corals polyps were open for month and doing well but after that its closed until today.
Wonder what is the issue.

Tyrenlds is right. Kh doesn't have anything with color.
Stability of water parameter is more important.

That coral is Goniopora.
You may try to feed them with oyster egg. That would help.

Mav2. Thank you for your kind words.
You are exactly right. Hope will keep us alive.

The work you have done is absolutely amazing, and you deserve all the accolades of the reefing community. Thank you for documenting and sharing with us. I would buy a book on the building of this system from start to finish.

Hey Chingchai,

Have you notice if your Pig Tail Gorgonia's have grown at all? I have two small 3 inches and from what I can see the tip end has grown but not as curled up yet .... I would love to get a showpiece size like yours especially the "Blue" specimen or is it "Turquoise Blue"?

Thx,
Paul

Mine has not grown yet.
Yes, I would love to have the blue Gorgonian as well.

My pair of Gem Tang (updated situation).
They love eating frozen Cyclop-eeze.

My luck runs out again. So very tired and exhausted.
This morning, I found both of them are unexpectedly out of the box.
One is doing fine but the other one got stuck to water return hole.

I plan to keep them in this box for one month before introducing to the display tank.

Rest in peace. My small Gem..........

Ching - I am so sorry about the small Gem. Is the other one doing ok?

Any idea how it got out of the box?

I'm very sorry to hear that. Could you post pic of you equipment or filter room again. I wonder what your phosphate level act. From the looks of it you really don't need to test for it.
