Well may we see a pic of the big bugger.
I just buy another very big Gem Tang from my LFS's customer.
This fish has been in his tank for three years.
if the depends on size i think if there is a big difference most like the big tang won't pick on the little one. this is base on a couple of purple and yellow tang on my tank
You have to put them together in a place they can see each other but with a devider so they can get use to each other.
Make sure they wont escape as if they will be together in a small place, it'll be a problem.
After few weeks together, I'd try to intro them together, but there's no gurantees.

i never have the guts to buy a achilles tang because my tank will always have ick. great find!
wow a gem tang, first i've seen. kinda ugly though. nothing fancy but the price tag. lol. good for you
