DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

That is a sight I have never seen with all the cross hatches I have had. Simply awesome! Its goes to show a large tank with plenty of fish room goes along way!
mx838. Thanks.
You are exactly right.
These fishes need plenty of room to swim and they eat a lot.

Nothing I can say hasn't been said a few hundred times about your build ;)

By far though, my favorite coral in you entire system has to be this lightly tinted green Rhizotrochus typus. I have been working on trying to acquire one of that color since 2007 and continue to wait patiently for one to hit the shores of US.

Mike

Mike. Thanks.
Regarding to Rhizotrochus typus, in the past few years it used to be very rare and expensive.
But now it is easier to find and cheaper.
If you can come to Thailand, I will find one for you.

Maybe some day. When I was in the Marine Corps stationed in Japan and S.Korea it would have been a quick flight, now with my current line of work it is difficult to take off the alloted time I would need to really appreciate your country.

The Rhizotrochus typus here are not that difficult to locate, more of an issue with color varient. Most that come in are white, orange, red, pink, yellow, and rarely purple or green. I have a few on the lookout for a green one and as well as other green Azoox corals besides the common branching black with green polyp tubastrea micrantha.

Ching, I also agree that a Wrought would look AWESOME in there, and if you keep it well fed, it will likely not pick too much! and your tank is so big it will have plenty of places to hide and pick at the rocks!

Oh great shot Jeremy!

I love the baby Wrought but I don't like the adult one.
And most important thing is they are too expensive!

Really?! To each their own, I guess. I LOVE the adult coloration. They are indeed expensive, although not personatus expensive. But, you have quite a few $$$ locked up in your fish already!!

Ching, it´s always a pleasure to visit your thread.

It´s exciting to see the Achilles getting along. What a sight for sore eyes.

I hope you make a bigger video of your tank soon so we all can see how matured and unique it has become.

The rest, you know it all. Well done Master.

Regards,
André
