DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

I just finished you whole thread and all I can say is WOW ! Your tank Is by far one of the best I have ever seen, It suck you had to lose all those fish in the process but we all go through that. If they have the best chance to thrive it would be in your tank. BTW I love the hawk fish I used to like the Flame hawk because of their red but those are by far my favorite fish right now, I wish I could own a pair.

Antwan620. Thank you.

looking great as usual Ching...sorry to hear about the Achilles, but more importantly, the Interruptus angels and the Gem Tangs look spectacular. And the Crosshatch triggers appear to be doing well together in the tank too!

Looking forward to your continued collection of fish that for most are unobtainable.

Fantastic!

melanotaenia. Thank you.

those two fish took my breath away. That price made my heart stop: This thread just might kill me LOL

Ok now we are at the year mark (and I remember that you said no real regrets a while back but, other than size any regrets or wishes for a do over??

Good question.
But at the moment I can't think of any regret or wish yet.

Thing doesn't go as planned.
Yesterday some of my corals collapsed and it took me almost three hours to re-arrange them.
So no more time left to take pictures.
But I will do it this week for sure.

The tank now is already one year old.
Time flies. Right?
However, it is still the never ending story.

I will take update pics and post this weekend.

i know we can all scan back through, but how about a picture from right after the corals started going in, and the same picture from now!?

I figured that you would still hold fast on that. I have yet to hear a complaint from you about your set-up

I only wish that I could have reached such a level. I really am proud of my set up but it is pale compared to yours.
On the other hand I am very lucky as I get to share my set up with my students every day so its a fine trade off to me

Next to my job as biology teacher I am one of the editors of the Dutch marine-aquarium magazine: Ons Zeeaquarium. Some editors visited Thailand recently and wrote an article about some Thai tanks, including Chingchais.

I shot pictures of the magazine featuring Chingchais tank. I have seen his previous tank in person, when seeing the pictures of the current tank, I definitely want to go to Thailand again.

Chingchai: although no tank will ever be perfect, yours comes close: congratulations :)

Here the first set of pictures :)

Tanne. Thank you for the pictures.
I and my friend (Mod) are proud to be published on your magazine.

Let me know when you will come to BKK.
I am pleased to meet you.

P.S. The tank behind the magazine, it is yours. Right?
Would love to see more pics of it. Looks very nice.

You have a nice tank, enjoy following your thread. I hope to visit Thailand someday and if so I would like to see your tank in person.

ChingChai, Could you talk about your interruptus a little bit...

Are you happy with them? Do they stand out in your tank? How do they interact with the other interrupta and with the other fish? How are they with your coral?
