DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

That is great to hear. My local shop had a male in but way out of the classroom budget

I love the look of the triggers but have always been a bit fearful of them

Hey Chingchai, been a while since I followed this thread religiously...

That said I just searched every page since November for references to your ventralis and I have questions if you don't mind.

Primarily, did you do anything special to get them eating? How often do you find you have to feed them? Any additional tips on keeping them? At some point, I'd like to get just one and keep it in a tank with a small group of resplendent anthias to see how I do with a high difficulty species.

Thanks!

You can call me anytime.
081-8121704 (this is how to dial when you are in Thailand)

Hey Ching, I tried calling a couple of time, but your phone is always busy. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyways, I will be in Bangkok tomorrow, and will be visiting the Siam Ocean World. I would like to visit you on 1/23 at around 9 or 10am. Let me know if this is ok. Also how far are you from 69 Sukhumvit Soi 4? Either email me your address, vulteiv@yahoo.com, or pm. Vince

1/23 is fine with me.
It takes about twenty minute by car from your location to my house.
Mail already sent.

I will come back with more pictures after Chinese New Year.

ChingChai,

Oh man WOW!!! Honestly you need another Bigger show tank ... I'm serious. Judging from the limited space for more new additions I'd say you may wanna reconsider hmmm?

Looking forward to 2012 ... sometime in late July alrighty?

Keep up the excellent hobby!!

Paul

For the Ventralis, I have no special tip to make them eating.
You should try to feed them more often once they are in QT tank with different kind of food.
Or you may choose the one that already eat at the shop.

Ching, I think you need a Personatus Pair. ;)

I noticed you removed the Junceella sp. Any reason in particular?

Personatus Pair, those are my dream fishes.
So far I still have no luck to find them. But if I do, I wonder whether I can afford them.:hmm2:

I did lose four colonies of my coral due to red bug and flatworm.
I don't have much time to take good care of my tank in last four weeks.
That won't happen again.

Paul,

Picture doesn't do justice. There is still plenty space for coral to grow.
Look forward to seeing you in 2012.
BTW, any chance I can get PE Mysis?

Ching, I'll be in the market for a Personatus Pair in about a years time. Maybe we should find two pairs and get a discount! :lolspin:

Hi Ching, sorry for all the posts lately but your system has inspired me to build my own!

If I may ask, what mode do you have your Vortech set on in your Softie Tank?

I am setting up a 20g nano while my build is in the planning stage. I will start a build thread when everything is ready to go.

Cheers.
