DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Chingchai, im curious to what coral prices are in thialand, if i were to purchase that many corals here it would cost tens of thousands of dollars

It depends on what kind of coral.
For SPS, it is around US$70-100.
For LPS, it is around US$50-70.
This is from Indonesia.

But coral from Australia is more expensive.
Say US$150-300.

My wife took this picture. I don't know when.
Just want to show you guys how hard to place coral in position.
Almost got sunburn on my back.

Riddle solved. I'm sure a lot of us wondered at one time or another how to go about placing your corals.

:lolspin:

No, the bulbs are in good shape.
But it turns to be like this.
However, most of them are still working.

Good to hear you didn't have a disaster with the bad bulbs. I hope the replacements work out for you. I feel bad for recommending a bulb I have never used myself, but that is the problem when you are a pioneer in the hobby.

You have mastered the art of enjoying the reef, fully understanding it will never be finished or easy; this is the hardest lesson

Please don't feel bad.
I appreciate your recommendation.
Everything can be fixed sooner or later. That's what I expect from Aquastar.

Ching,

Regarding post #5665, what is your method for placement, maintenance, etc. for the specimens on the sandbed and/or lower down than your reach from above ? My apologies if you previously covered this information, if so my excuse is simply one number ... 5665 !

Thank You!
