DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Hi Chingchai, do you have any plans on changing your lighting to full t5 or led?

Hmmm personally i dont think T5 alone can sustain a tank of this magnitude.....but LEDS maybe coz innovations are happening everyday....

Its all a personal preference...i guess...:fun4:

Chingchai loves his Metal halides....

Pictures does not do justice till you actually see it in person.
I got hypnotized for a while when I first saw it last week.
Outstanding is an understatement!

Again, thanks for giving me and my family this rare opportunity to see your beautiful reef, which definitely was the highlight of my trip to BKK.

James

I just found this thread from a friend on GTAAquaria. WOW  I now have a new source of inspiration for my newly planned 90G. Very beautiful craftsmanship!

BTW I was goofing around with your camera this evening, looking at your tank with my kids. we thought it quite cool that we could pan and zoom a camera all the way in Thailand!!!

Mr. chingchai

As i have been lurking around here for awhile, i have to say your tanks are TRULY inspirational. I'm in the process of setting my "part" of my dream system. I say part because i really want a 48x48x30 cube. I had to go with a 48x24x24 for now, funds are a little tight because I'm trying to complete my fish room. Anyways i just wanted to say thank you for your continued upkeep of your thread i know ALOT of us on here appreciate it.

I do have one question about your NPS tank. Are you running it at the same temp as your main tank? Most of what ive been gathering they like lower temps. I only ask because im doing a 75gal NPS under my 120 SPS display.

Nice Softi tank as always Ching,
I really like growth your sps can give me a name inside green box. thanks

mil hse. Thank you so much.
For my NPS tank, it is connected to my main tank.
So it is same temperature (24 celcius or 75 fahrenheit).
You are right. Lower is better for NPS tank.

You keep that 1000+ gallon tank at 75 degrees?

Seems a little cooler then what most people run their reefs at. What do you feel the benefits are?

Ching I just wanted to say your tank is amazing! Iv spent a week reading this whole thread and got educated on many things (I'm a total newbie). After reading this thread I decided to join reef central and have totally become addicted to this forum. Anyway I hope you enjoy your beautiful piece of the ocean. Hopefully I will have this opportunity after I'm done with college and become established. Enjoy!
