DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

u can hand carry and board the plane ?

Fluid restrictions on how much you can carry on to the plane make this difficult anymore. Pretty much anything with water (which corals obviously need) has to be checked...at least state-side this is the case, and I'm assuming most airliners have the same restrictions anymore.

Guys in our club check coolers as luggage, with bagged corals in them when they travel to shows.

Ching, I stopped by your store today and spoke with Tassaporn, I am here on business and discussed potentially coming by and seeing your tank. I will be outside of Bangkok until next Sunday but plan to be in Bangkok all next week. I would love to arrange a time in the evening if possible to see the tank. Of Course I will bring wine. Do you have a favorite? (red or white, Cabernais Savaignon, Merlot, Boujolais???) I have Tassaporns card and will try to arrange through him.

Sorry guys,
When I wrote "hand carry" I meant he will travel with them, but not hand carry the old fashioned way we used to do it.
He was packing his corals and clams in boxes with little water as its just a 3hrs flight.

Ching all i can say is Beautiful tank. Your tank is very inspiring, and so is your attention to detail. You and your friends please keep up the great job and post more pics :) .

What's the name of the coral above? Is it a type tunicate? It's just I had something very similar growing in my tank except it was black with grey tracks?

Here's what was in my tank as a hitch hiker. It spread round the tank as well? Not half as pretty :)

Wow I just went through all 100+ posts in these 2 threads and it was worth every bit of the time I spent. I spent some time with the web cam too

You have the best build I have ever seen. Better then 90% of the commercial/public aquariums in the world. Your planning and implementation of this project is superb.

I'm even more amazed. When I 1st looked at the final video I figured this aquarium was housed in a large mansion and then when going through the thread I realized it is house in what we Americans would call a townhouse. Simply amazing.

Charles. Thanks for your kind words.
This should call "Shophouse" because there is no frontyard.
