chingchai , just fyi . this fish is a liopropoma rubre (peppermint bass ) not carmabi .
i only bring this up as the price difference between the two is BIG ! i hope you didn't pay carmabi money for it .
btw i have the same fish in my 600 carribean tank so i know how beautiful this little guy is .

LOL. My wife knows not to ask about my setup! She knows too well that is more than she wants to know. But money is irrelavent. It's all about the end result. Great work. I love your latest pics and additions to the tank. As I said before, pure art!

Ching... all i can say is wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing this, its been an amazing journey. The tank looks like its been established for a year already! love all the clams! the bench looks great.... now you can lay down, watch the tank and sleep in the ocean!!!!! :) -Sue

Hi Ching,
Can you please comment on the Philips Moonlight Leads that you got?
How do you find their intensity and color and will they give the same fluorescence that regular Moonlights give?
Contacted the lighting Dep in Philips and they told me they have a 120 cm string of that Lead moonlight, Is it the same lenght that you have? One last question do you think it'll be too much light for my upgrade tank (300 G with 2 Meters length and 70 CM deapth)
Thanks for your help

Love all the Ventralis Anthias! I hope they do well for you.

Brian. Thank you.

Yesterday they still showed good sign and start eating.

But today, maybe my luck runs out.
Half of them are dead. Don't know why.
Very feel depressed to see them lying on the sand, some are taken by Shrimp and Crab.
What a sad Sunday!...............

Rest in peace. My ventralis.

Chingchai,
Is there a way to save this entire thread to a local file? You have so much detail and valuable information for those of us with large tank builds that I would hate to loose it. I am somewhat of a novice with respect to forum protocol so I don't know if what I am asking is permitted or possible.

Peter

Peter. I will summarize all details of this tank later.
