dont get any better than this. everyone's dream!!!!
Chingchai,
First of all, thank you for devoting so much time to share your experiences with us. Me, being one of your thousands of followers, can't express how amazed I am with your build and all the attention to detail and perfect execution of your plans to make your dream come true.
I believe I am the first one from Turkey to chime in on the thread, but regardless your fame has reached here long before, it just took me too long to catch up with the thread, and I certainly took my time to digest your posts and inputs. But nonetheless, we have a few topics covering you in multiple forums and people stating their amazement. (I am not posting the link here cuz its mostly in writing and in Turkish)
Well, thank you very much again!
p.s.> I almost feel obligated to give my input and try to help you a tiny bit if I can, even if that's a small pointer or just providing a different perspective. If the micro bubbles are bothering you, you may want to consider a bubble trap. I am using one and am very happy with it. I studied melev's designs from his site while putting mine together. I am thinking if you have your return in a bubble trap with only one (or two) openings in the bottom facing the direction opposite of the pipe and flow, it will help reduce the amount of bubbles greatly.
edit: I meant to say return from your BK. and I apologize for my not-so-concise English
Chingchai,
I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your willingness to take the amount of effort you do to bring us along on your journey. I too have followed each and every page from the beginning and this recap is profoundly helpfull. I have said it before and I will say it again, even over your objections, you have definately raised the bar for best practices in this discipline. Its not that there aren't other nice tanks out there, nor is it a case that others have any less interest or passion for this hobby.........it is how you have brought all the moving parts together in such an incredibly short period of time with such a fantastic result. I am just about to start my own journey (the tank has arrived and is finally in place) and I can tell you that I would not have even started the process had it not been for this thread. I thank you for that and I look forward to your feedback when I begin to document my journey in pursuit of the Chingchai best practices standards as we move forward. Congratulations my friend you are one of the best!!!!!!
Peter
Chingchai, do you have a link to purchase these?

Hi chingchai,
I've been meaning to ask you this question for a long time:
If you were doing it over... what would you do different?
I wouldn't be surprised if the answer was "nothing" with all the planning that went into your new setup, but you never know.
B.
Chingchai , did you use UV ? if the answer yes , why ?
