DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Ching:

On ur pics something looks like a spider. It is a Sally foot crab??

Ur tank continues look sparkling clear, any secret??

Yes, it is Sally foot crab.

For the water, no secret at all.
I just have filter sock and run carbon. 15% water change every week.
That's it.

Vili. Thanks.
Hope to meet you someday.

Yes, it will be cool.
I had only 1 day in BKK after coming back from a week in Koh Phangan.
I was asking about you in Chatuchak and they say you do not come there on sundays,so i didnt want to bother you.

I was looking for Alex but seems he retired or something.

Spent full day there, awsome experience as usual and not only the fish, cant wait for the day that i will fill a container of furnitures from there, so cool!

I bought some corals and some of that epoxi you posted here earlier.

Its nice to see the progress the Thai reefers did in a few years, i'm visiting the market for quite a few years, this time, truly, you guys have ALOT of world class corals !

Good luck with your new tank and take care.

Hi Chingchai,

Are you planning to fill up the bottom with corals or leave it open?
I ask because in the last FTS I see more and more corals resting on the sand.

Grt,

Robertus.

Ching, tank looks great! Are you doing anything special to keep your sand bottom clean? How are the clams liking it so deep with only 400 watt bulbs?

Ching,
What do you think of the Maxspect LED? I'm thinking of getting one for my 24X24X20 cube.

Thanks...and not that you haven't heard it before, KILLER TANK(s)!

murfman. Thanks.
For the sand bottom, I shift it twice a week.

I still have problem with my clams. Some of them died with no reason.
I guess there are some clam-killers in my tank. Can't find them yet.

My friend's tank same height, less 400 bulbs, his clams are doing very fine.
