DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Sir
How about Aussie harlequin tusk
I know it's not rare but one of th most beatiful out there.I am in the process of getting one!

What is paracehilinus hemitaeniatus?
I try to search for this fish but can't find it.

Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus is a flasher wrasse that is extremely rare, and only found in the comoros islands and madagascar.

It's one of my favourites. no one owns it till this date.

this picture does not do it justice.

chaetodon smithi is also a very nice fish, and abundant in the wild. but it too lives in obscure places and collection will be very difficult.

Just visited those fish shops in chatuchak. Alot of stuffs can get at there. The sea sun aquarium people told me that beckett skimmers are not popular in thai and surprisingly, he told me skimmers price will be cheaper in Singapore n Malaysia. Anyway, was really enjoy myself over there but the weather is killing me, lols. Thanks alot Ching for all ur info :) hope can visit ur huge tank before I head back to Malaysia.

Have you seen one in person?

Chingchai, I love the nano QT tank a great deal. Great idea.

A couple of questions if I may?

What are the basic parameters.......temp salt etc.

I assume you took the photos of the shrimp with the 5DII, what lens did you use? Very nice photos of the shrimp by the way. well done.

Peter

After reading this thread for months, I finally created an account so I could finally comment on this thread. Just to say thank you, you and your build have kept me entertained for a long time and I appreciate it.

You attention to detail is amazing and your willingness to answer (and be kind) to everyone is what makes this so enjoyable for many of us. If I ever make it to your neck of the woods, I hope for the opportunity to say "Hi" in person.

Thank you for everything you've given all of us.

i did the same way...first came to know about ching in glassbox_design blog....
then found this thread...after reading it for 4 days i joined reefcentral...though i found some equally impressive tanks and innivative set-up here, ching's built still remains my favourite...

@chingchai,
what are you feeding those shrimps...any starfish preparation...?

So last night I was trying to help a local reefclub member aquascape who had some large colonies. I wonder if you have some tips on how you went from this

to this

in such short order (or what seems such short order). Were the rocks pre-drilled? Did you suspend them and then glue them in place? We did not have much luck with reef epoxy.
