DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Simply breath taking.

Can i ask how long you spend looking after the tank a week? It surely is time well spent.

Also is this as big as you would like to go or just another stepping stone to a dream tank? not that it isn't already a dream tank.

Moort82. Thank you.
For myself, I spend at least one hour with this tank.
Checking fish, coral, equipment status etc.
But for the maintenance, it is the duty of my fish guy. Can't live without him.

Well, as long as I am still breathing. I still have a dream.;)

ching I only came to know of you through peters thread that i've been following since he started. I'm still new to the hobby only starting this year. I am unable to comprehend how your corals have so much color. Its not just a few of them that are thriving it is every single one. Congrats on your huge success and thank you for your inspiration to peter because it is clear that as peter said you are the blueprint for the way this hobby should be approached. Thank you for the hi-res photos they are now my background on my Tv. One question I have is how do you place corals? Do you personally dive in your tank? Its so BIG!

Filter socks

Filter socks

ChingChai, Do you have a picture of your filter sock arrangement on your sump? We have decided to redesign our sump and I remember your innovative arrangement for your filter socks. If I remember correctly you also did something to reduce bubbles as well?????

Peter

I just use tong and hand to place coral.
But it takes quite some time to put it in proper position.:(

Peter

Here are the pictures of my filter sock. To reduce bubbles, I put all the return pipe into this filter sock as well.

Pizza Anemone (Crytodendrum adaesivum)
After hiding for almost one month, just show up today.
But it is at the back of the tank.
I really love the color. Super metallic green.

Ryan. Thanks for your suggestion.
Resplendent Anthias is nice. I truly agree.

But I would like to save space of my tank for a school of Ventralis Anthias.
So far I can find them yet.
If any of you guys know the supplier of this fish, please let me know.

Hello again chingchai!

I don't have words to describe your tank and your effort for this masterpiece. Congratulations!

I ordered about 50 pseudanthias ventralis which are comming in about one month from now. If you don't find until then I will be more than glad and onored to give you mine because who knows when my tank will be ready.

You and your tank deserves them more than I do.
