DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Hi Chingchai, I was looking at the pics on my big screen I took at your place in March this years. I must admit that your tank still one of the best reef tanks ever built. Everything is so well planned and executed. Your tank has so much colour with the variety of corals inside. I sit and look at my tank than and the pics on the big screen, I must say I have yet alot to learn. Keep up the good work and may you have many happy reefkeeping years.
Kind Regards

Suhay. Thank you for your kind words.
I agree with you. We all have a lot to learn in this hobby.
All the best,

Nothing so excited this week.
Can't find any rare fish and coral yet.
Hope there will be more coming next week.
I will keep you guys updated.

Here are just few pics I want to show:
- wording on my front and back door (this is the idea of my interior designer)

Chingchai,
I'm sure that you know this already but I'll say it anyway just to make sure. Prodibio makes a PRO version of there product for situations such as yours with such a large system volume. I don't know how they compare cost wise or if there is a reason that you are using the regular version but I figured that I'd mention it.

Thank you for mentioning this.
I never check and compare price of this PRO version.
I think I should do it now.

Too pricey? what's 5000 k? Man, that set up you have must of cost you a fortune. Even in Thailand. One of the best and nicest tanks i have seen on this forum. Very well done. from the main room to the tank. First class.

I'm still not done looking through this whole thread yet but I have to say this is one of the best tanks I have ever seen. I like how well planned you had did it.

but bbart should read the whole thread..300 pages of them .lol

I have been here since the beginning (I still remember the pics of the tank inverted on a couple of barrels). As a matter of fact my first post on this site was on this thread. I check it all the time. If any thank that I ever own is as half a just plain gorgeous as this one I will be extremely happy.

Ching is right. Those are too expensive. Even as a pair they are overpriced. I have seen these even on DD for under 2K a piece. I would imagine given Ching's location would drop shipping costs, they would be even cheaper for him (since they are found in Japan)

Beautiful pair though

But I don't think this tank needs butterflies. More rare angels!! :)

A big bonus for this pair it their size. The ones you have seen were 6"+. These smaller sizes are rarer, and the pair makes it exponentially so. IMO, it is a great price.

Ching can indeed buy whatever he likes for his tank. Judging on the fish he already has bought (IE- earlii wrasses and interruptus angels groups) and hopes to buy (personatus angels), $5000 doesn't seem out of range for his budget at all, but I'm not his accountant, or his mom. He should buy what he likes, and he obviously doesn't like these.

Ching, and video/updates on the new fish (wrasses, Achilles, etc)?

Hi Ching
I have been following this thread, and many others, from the start.
This is my first post on RC and to be honest it was a coin toss on whos thread I would post on.
I joined RC as i am planning a large 2200 gallon system myself and you guys certainly know how to put a large system together!
So this is just a breif congratulations on your stunning system, thankyou for putting together such a concise and informative build thread that has become an inspiration not only to myself but has also spured on other great build threads, Peters for example.
Hi to all on RC, you guys have contributed to a fantastic forum that has been a huge help to me in planning a large system.
