DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Awesome growth, sorry Ching but I feel the pics of a year back are nicer.
Have you changed the camera.

Haksar. You are right.
It is the same camera.
But this last set I rush shoot them due to limited timing.
So the quality is not acceptable.
Sorry man.
Next time I will be more concentrated.

Hi Ching,

I am lost words, sps, lps, invert more colorful. I never seen sps so beautiful, vibrant colour like yours. Ching, i don't see black tang in your fish list? Where is your other beautiful achilles tang, i remember you still have 5 of them?

I have a question about alkalinity, my alakalinity frequently drop. How To maintain alkalinity between 10-12 and To Keep Alkalinity for not drop so Fast ?

Thanks A Lot

Anton

Anton. Thank you for your kind words.
I can't find the big Black tang yet. Still looking for them.
For Achilles, I only have two left at the moment. Can't accomplish to keep all of them.
For alkalinity, I don't know how you maintain your tank. What kind of salt, trace element and how frequently of your water change?
These factors do have effect with your water parameter.
I recommend you to read this article. It is plain and simple but very useful.
Thank you Keith for his dedication and sharing knowledge.

No apologies Ching, after all what are friends for.
Anyways your pics and dedication to your hobby are way better than mine.

This tank is so amazing and grows along the way. what a great accomplishment! you should be proud. this is by far the best tank setting the bar higher then any other tank I have ever seen. Great fish amazing corals, amazing growth. I keep following this tank daily keep up the great work ching.

Hi Ching,

Thanks For quick reply, i used natural sea water and i always test for nitrate and phospate but i never test alkalinity, i will test if i do water change next week. I Used Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium, Seachem Reef Builder for alkalinity and Sechem Reef Plus for Trace Mineral. I do water chenge weekly for 40 ltr. I will try your link.

Thanks A Lot Ching,

I hope someday, I can see your tank in person.

Congratulations with your article in "Ons Zeeaquarium"
I like your corals and your beautiful fish collection.
You have a very nice tank.

Greetings,
Gerrit

Chingchai, I just read about the floodings in Thailand. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. I wish you and your family the best!

Chingchai, saw pics of your tank in a presentation of Ron Hessing last night. Have followed this thread already but still amazing to see how this is build. Hope to see it in real live in the near future. Have to go to Jakarta first next year for a family visit (wife is indonesian) but next goal is to see Bangkok and his amazing tanks!
Greets,
Paul

Testing KH, Calcium, PH and salinity is a must. You have to do it once a week.
Why don't you use calcium reactor and kalk reactor to maintain your water parameter?
It is cheaper and more convenient.

If you have a chance to visit BKK, do let me know.
I am pleased to meet you.

Tanne. Thank you for your concern.
We are all doing fine.
But people outside Bangkok and the outskirts area are suffering from this crisis.
Yes, I also hope everything will be back to normal as soon as possible.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your posting.
Please say hi to Ron for me. He is the great guy.
Don't miss your next goal! You will love Bangkok more than Jakarta.

Cheers,

Ching,
Congratulations on producing an outstanding system.
I've followed your thread from the very beginning and it's been a pleasure watching your reef develop over the past year, I can't wait to see it in another 12 months from now it'll look even better!

Keep up the good work Team Chingchai
