DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Chingchai, How long have you been using the prodibio Bioptim and Bio-digest? Do you think it's helping in keeping your Nitrates and phosphates low. The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about using the system for my aquarium.

Really a great video Ching! I have some questions, Do you actively feed the Goniopora?( i remember you had difficulty with a red one before?)
Also the spiral whip coral in the centre is it photosynthetic or plankton eater?

Thanks again for the great video, an aquarium you can be truly proud over.

Shawn. Thank you.
I feed Goniopora and spiral whip coral from time to time.
That spiral is plankton eater.

I am totally blown away, Ching ! Your reef just seems to float in the air. Incredible sea whip ? ( big spiraling red coral with yellow polyp ) How big was it when you bought it ?
Your tank is a dream !

Jan. Thanks a lot.
I just have that spiral coral for two months. It comes in that size.

Chingchai,

Your tank is so stunning. Simply amazing.

Have you had any worries with it since starting.

Flatworms, red bugs, aiptasia's etc etc and how have you managed to keep the rock and sand so clean?. Do you replace any of the sand?. Do you blow off detritus from the rocks?..

What phosphate test kit do you use?

Thanks

Mo

Mo. Thank you.
I do have some flatworm and red bug. I blow them off for sometime.
My fish guy shift the sand and blow off detritus from the rock once a week.
I didn't replace any sand yet.

I use " Aquaraise " test kit. It is the local brand.

I've been looking at your thread for what seems like months and never said anything because my eyes are crossing but your tank is hands down the best I've ever seen bro....truly stunning....just thought I would finally give credit where credit is do...and the video on the page before almost made me fall asleep which is awesome,so peaceful...

I have used these products for six years.
Strongly recommend.

I got your food yesterday. Condition is good.
Thanks.

FYI: The ingredients are as follows, shrimp, lobster, clams, baby octopus, squid, mussels, sea scallops, Aloe-Vera, Cyclop-eeze, fresh garlic, Selcon.

Ching, you are going to love Rogger's food. I'm lucky enough to live near, and know, Rogger. I've been using his food for a few years now, and my fish go crazy for it. It's definitely the best food I have ever used. Even if I were to make my own food, it still wouldn't be as good. You'll love it and you will see how much your fish will love it.

Thanks Chingchai,

Do your wrasses help with the flatworms.... Do they eat any?. I always live in fear.

When you water change, do you notice a temporary drop in Redox in the tank?.

Do you prefer to blow off the rocks rather than siphon out the detritus?.

Thanks
Mo

Chingchai, thanks for the information on the prodibio system. I'm going to order some today. I'm sorry, I forgot to ask you if you use the prodibio reef booster also. From everything I've read it seems to be pretty strong stuff and used sparingly by those who use it.

Amazing video !! thank you for posting it :)

currently planning a trip to Thailand with some friends. Ill be sure to ask you when the time comes if I Can come and see your beautiful system.

Tank

Just spent the day with Chingchai and his family, couldn't have been a more perfect day in Bangkok. Super hospitable and very very friendly. If anyone is near the Bangkok area, you NEED to see this tank in person, it is absolutely stunning. I could've sat in front of it for hours. Chingchai, thank you very much for having me today, you made my trip to Bangkok completely worth it. You are such an inspiration for so many reefers out there and I was so blessed to actually see it in person. I honestly can say that this is the reason why I will be back to Bangkok, you and your club are the best things about this city. Once again, thank you for having me today and I can't wait to see how your tank progresses!!

P.S. I think you should update us with some pictures of your clubs softy tank :D
