DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Chingchai,
I'm travelling this next week to the U.S. I've been thinking of getting lumen bright Reflectors, are you satisfied with them? I've planned to set up 8 of them, that would be too much light but the depth of my tank is same as yours, so I think it would be nice.
What do you thing?
Thanks

I am 100% satisfied with your aquascape as well :inlove: :lmao:

I have been planning a new system for months now and I wanted to ask your opinion on what you consider are positives/negatives in your own system. Thank you.

Kao Rop

Well, I don't find any negative impact from my system yet.
It would be better if you can let me know what you will use on your system.
So I can give you the idea of yes or no.

I am satisfied with them.
Believe me, there is no too much light.
Look forward to seeing your tank.

Nice to see the Dussi arrived well, Ching. I saw it before it left Australia roaming around the facility and it's definitely one of the nicer ones I've seen. Photos/video don't even remotely show how huge he is :D

The tank installation is experiencing a short delay, but I suppose on mid august it will be finished.
I'm going to use the same lighting system as yours, except for the ballasts (Lumatek). This is due to in Spain we use 220V/50 hz voltage as you in thailand do, and few ballasts in the market can change the voltage.
I'll keep u updated!
P.S. how are the Leucozonus anthias doing?

The pair of Leucozonus anthers are doing fine. They always show up.

Just a little update with fisheye lens.

Wish my tank will atleast look as good as Chingchai's Refugium!!
It looks classy.

Amazing shots and videos as always. The colours of the SPS are just perfect and they look "ocean" healthy :)

Hello congratulations for these art work!:wavehand:

could you please tell me what are the actual surface area of the refugium part?
are you still using ecosystem miracle mud?at what depth?
thank you in advance

If Im not mistaken, Alki, I believe Chingchai replaced the miracle mud/Chaetomorpha in favor of a Mangrove style refugium ... Perhaps, there are two separate refugiums

RN. Couldnt agree more ... Chingchai is the epitome of classy in this hobby/way of life !

More so than just from the way he configures/specs his systems :)

Yes, I am still a big fan of Miracle Mud.
The depth is around 4 inches.
