All I can is WOW to this ballast. I was running (2) 250 PFO and this has amazing color with the Phoenix bulbs, not as white/yellow as the PFO! Actinics are not needed. Great ship time--1 day! as well as great product! This is more subtle blue than the icecap electronic 250 with DE 250 and if you were looking to get away without actinics I would suggest this ballast. It is still very bright just more subdued than an over driven PFO 14k Phoenix bulb. Very nice ballast!
