dual calc. reactor or denitrifier?

I am struggling with wether or not to purchase a new sulpher denitrifier or looking for a dual chamber reactor. The reason I am asking this is because so many here are using a reactor. The cost is about equal and I was thinking I could use the no-no3 in the second chamber and have the same effect as the denitrifier yet get the advantage of the calc. chamber with the dual reactor. Am I correct?
Also how do you keep the PH up with all the calcium/alkalinity being added by the reactor all the time? If anything in my tank drops right now it is the ph from time to time.

Do you have a refug with an alternate light time than your tank? This helps the ph a little. Also dripping kalk at night will raise the ph/keep it from dropping too low. A higher Alk helps to stabilize your ph.

What's you ph before the tank lights come on and what is the reading before the lights go off?
