Can a fish being too "thick" be bad? I mean all my fish are fat, but they're always eager to eat.. So can it be unhealthy for them?

yes if animal gets over weight it can be harmful. over feeding fish can get them fat. if it starts becoming a problem for them to swim and move around things then you should cut back on the food. how many time do you feed them a day and what type of food?

what type of flow is in the tank ? if it's low ya might want to boost it up a bit. do you have pictures of said fattys ? maybe they just have big bones
