Wow.. I am in Erlangen right now but thinking about hopping on a train to check it out. I was planning on October heading that way but now I have another reason. Do you have a link to the hotel? I might as well stay there for the night.

Most animals were not brought into the tank as a frags. But still I can't complain about growth.

monti eating nudibranch

monti eating nudibranch

I heard from an expert that I have an infestation of a montipora eating nudibranch :eek2:
I had noticed them before but thought not much of it.
I have eradicated a flat worms infestation before so I thought I could get rid of these in the same way.
They concentrate on one small piece of a big monti colony and the damage has been restricted to that area. I syphon them off every week and it looks as if the coral recuperates very quickly.

Here's what it looks like but then a lot smaller.

Does anybody have experience in battling these critters ?
