Dutch Royalty Reef

I bin busy with my sump lightning and moon light.
Moon light is my profilux Simu stick. I had to make some nice brackets for it and hang it nice to the backside of the tank.
In the sump I added a blue led strip that go on and off by opening and closing the door. When I need to see better I can manually open the white LEDs as well.
And here some photos of the results.

Tomorrow my first living animals will be added to my tank. 15 Conch snails and 5 Black Axel Chromis.
I add the fish because my tank is very low in Nitrates and Phosphate now and i like to have Nitrate max 2 and Phosphate 0.02 so I need to built up some waste to get my bio load and bacteria to grow to get a better cycle and bacteria culture in the tank. The week after I will add 5 Turbo snails. Than I will be silent for a time depend of the water parameters to add some Wrasse and fire fish. My tangs will come when I have them all 3 together to add them in one time in to the tank to reduce change on killing each other but this will take some longer time and I am sure before they will be added some frags will be standing on some places in the tank showing off.

I got today good news as well. Monday I will have my Aqua Medic Titan 1500 chiller. Away with all the ventilators around the tank...

Yopu are going to run biopellets and zeovit?

No Beaver, I will only run biopellets and when it really need carbon. But GFO with biopellets in my opinion are not helping each other. But as always everyone has a different meaning about this subject.
I will use KZ product for feeding and for color.

Beautiful and very well organized, can't wait to see more.

Thank's Mark i like to be organized as it work more easy and secure.

I have picked up my 5 Chromis today to help my bacteria structure to be built up. Tomorrow also my 15 Conch snail's will be in the LFS, so I can add them as well.

I changed today my ATO pump what was an Eheim compact 1000 for a tunze osmosis pump. This because it fill more slowly than the Eheim. Also I got two small frags to see how they will react.
When this will go ok without any problems I will start to add some more corals and fish. But not in a week time but over the coming weeks.

The thing with biopellets is that in order to consume nitrates and phosphates those have to be in the right ratio. This is where the gfo comes into play ...

All the best

Completely true Beaver, and for sure I am not sure if I only can run on my biopellets, but in tanks I had before I always used only Biopellets whit no problems. I always run my tanks very sober. I don't like to much fish and I always start very slowly with adding except in the start-up time I make always as soon as possible my cleaning team into the tank. Snils a tang small size and some starters fish to get some load in the tan.
My experience are not positive when I use biopellets and GFO together.

I toke my cleaning group today from the re-seller. I bought 16 Conch snails, 5 Turbo snails and one blue eye kole tang small.
I am struggling a little this day's with my profilux. It is not measuring as what it suppose to be even after calibration..

I have bin busy with my osmosis water system. It's made so I can easy mix water and blow air in with a venturi that is powered by an air pump. This to mix my salt as good as possible.

I finished the tank and stand with fine tuning and small adds as labeling and placing my touch screen from the Profilux. I added my moon simu stick as well. This was an issue as I don't want to see cables or that it is not demontabel.
I added as well for the time a 4 socket power bar from Giesemann until my Profilux parts what is ordered by GHL will arrive.
A new job again...

In the sump I added blue led as well that switch on and off by opening and closing the door. Next to it I still have my white Led in the sump area when I need to see more.

Everything run nice and stable. I am only boxing with some settings for the Profilux in program logic but it is not doing what I want.
I have also placed my chiller. I changed again and now it is an Giesemann Polaris 2000. For circulation I use an RED Dragon 3500. My inlet water come out of the pump area and return water come straight in the tank to have water as stable as possible.

Tomorrow I will send the photos of the progress...

Dutch, Everything you have done looks meticulously clean. I hope you don't mind the suggestion but the life of your GHL doser may be shortened if you keep in your sump area. The humidity isn't good for it. I recall reading in the manual with mine that keeping a GHL doser in an enclosed area such as inside a cabinet where you sump if located specifically voids the warranty. Perhaps you can relocate it elsewhere?

you are complete right regarding the dozer in the sump area. but the dozer you see now is my bubble magus that stand their for the time being as my new dozers from GHL will arrive over some weeks with the rest off my order from GHL. My second pH probe for my Schuran, flow sensor for the main pump, extra level sensors and humility-temprature probe for in the sump area that control my ventilators in the sump area to keep it as dry as possible. I also ordered two extra 6 pab D power bars so everything is controlled by the Profilux. Than I will have 22 sockets on the Profilux and that will be enough.

The dozer GHL 2x4 heads will be in an closed area where no humility or water will come. This out off experience with my old dozer's.
Where the BM stand is emergency as one of the dozers don"t work I can still doze the most important supplements and easy to place and take away when needed..

that sump is amazing! Great job

Thank you. I love the sump as well
