Dutch Royalty Reef

I was hesitant to throw out my comment because you know what you are doing already. I just couldn't help myself seeing the one picture, that's all. Don't mind the know it all!

No problem at all... It's a good comment as a lot of people make this mistake. And one off those was me... Expensive lesson.

I have some water measurements from the start off my new tank. At the moment I am ok with the parameters except that my Magnesium is on the low site. I dose now 3ml daily extra Magnesium from QFI and I started up my calcium reactor as well. The readings are going up now so I think in a week I will be ok.

So what I dose now is 5ml Strontium a day 30ml reef tonic 1&2 a day plus my calcium reactor.

When I have everything stable and my corals start to get light from color I will start wit adding KZ supplements to color everything to normal again...

Now time for parameters of my water and outlet of my calcium reactor Schuran Jetstream1 with CaribSea rubbles.

Really nice update! How long now have the tank been running? What exactly model is that pellet reactor?

I started to fill the tank 15-08-2013. 18-08-2013 I added salt and 20-08-2013 my live rock.
So you can say one month now.
The biopellet reactor is an royal exclusive biopellet reactor with royal exclusive biopellets as well. Until now I am very satisfied with the results. we will see when we get more load in the tank.

For one month old its looking very good, is that a 1.5liter, could you upload more detail pics there's not too many, I'm thinking of buying one but not sure!

It is, and i am very very satisfied with it. The movement in the reactor looks very good and no dead places in the reactor. I tried before a Skimz, Vortech and JNS Alpha reactor but the Royal Exclusive is doing his job way the best off all.

Thanks ...

best regards...

I have bin some time to post something again. I had to wait that my corals started to get their color back... In my system didn't change to much... I still run my biopellets in combination of KZ additives and PS. I added lot off different types sps frags and some bigger pieces of sps corals. I like to see the growth of sps.
I added 18 extra sockets controlled by Profilux and some extra probes to monitor the tank.
Time for sending photos as how it is now.
