Hey everyone, right now I have a 90 gallon reef and plan to keep sps and soft corals, but I will have a few shrooms as well. Based on this, which angelfish do you think would be best for my tank? After voting, please state the reson why you think that the angelfish that you voted for woul be best.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Golden and Potter's can be kinda tricky, especially the Golden. so I'd suggest avoidiong them since you haven't been doing this for very long. As for the Coral Bauty and Flame, get which you like best but keep in mind with both that there's a decent chance they will sample the corals in your aquarium.

i like the potters angel just cuz i have one.

only truly reef safe angel i know of is the japanese sparrow tail angelfish. might want to look into that if you dont want to take a chance of corals being nippe at.

Do you have a link for ifo and a pic of that angel? For the most part I'm willing to take the risk of an angel nipping at corals as long as they don't damage them.

I have a Coral Beauty in a 135 Gallon Tank he has never Been a Problem I have many Soft Corals.A Flame Angel would be a Good Choice as Well they are However more Expensive then a Coral Beauty.:)

I really had a nice little coral beauty that never touched a polyp in its life. Lived a perfectly healthy life until my mother poisoned my reef and forced me to start over. However there is still a possibility that you could get a "hungry" fish.
