Dwarf angels and Acans etc.

ive had coral beauties...flame angels....now i have a potters angel and i have had absolutly no problems at all ! but i have heard stories that are bad. ive been lucky

Everyone has its own personality. If you cant remove once in there the i recommend not getting one. Try something from the Genicanthus genus.

I won't keep centropyge with those corals; too risky, imo. Some work out though.

I've had my coral beauty for 4 yrs. now and she has been great with the corals. She doesn't play well with new tank additions(fish) but has never( that i've witnessed )hit any of the corals..It really depends on the fish IMO..

Acans temp fish that might be on the fence about picking on corals. Even Genicanthus Angles. I knew a guy from Rochester that put a Genicanthus in his tank and it went to town on his Acan collection.

I have been told by many people all angels will at some point turn no matter what, it is just a matter of time. I would stay away if you can.....sometimes nice looking fish are hard to say no to. Good luck.

My Coral Beauty hasn't touched my Acans, Zoas, LPS, etc. It just picks at algae all day and bullies smaller fish now and again.

That being said, I hear many with similar experiences, and many with just the opposite.

Seems to be hit or miss. I seem to be lucky so far.

Randy O keeps and knows lordhowensis extremely well. Personally I seek and listen to his advice on them. Ime, they don't like to be picked at and quickly close up and utimately suffer infection at the mercy of a pesky fish , crustacean or peppermint shrimp.

I guess I really knew the answer but just needed to hear it from you folks. RandyO and TMZ's comments sealed the deal. I don't want to take that chance with my Acans or my Z's & P's. I guess I'll be setting up a 30L FOWLR for non reef safe fish period. But that also leaves me with another dilemma and the reason I was considering it in the first place. I'm running out of room in the 40B! Picked up some more nice corals from another reefer Wednesday night (Thank you Piazzon12) and had a hell of a time finding room for them. I guess maybe I'll be setting up a 20 as well to house my collection of Acans and Z's & P's. That's the problem with this obsession I mean hobby to many nice corals and never enough room for them.
