basically my flame angel is sick (maybe ich) but not sure, would like some extra advice.

Nobody can do much without some more info. A pic would really help. Google "marine ich", include images. You'll see mostly fish covered in ich, but just compare the spots. You really need to be able to ID this parasite. A lot of folks (and LA) say FAs are very intolerant of copper and I tend to agree. I would treat this fish with tank-transfer if it is ich.
