Over the last weeks I have noticed that my dwarf fuzzy lion has grown a nose. I hope you can see from the picture. It may have been there longer, but I didn't notice it there before. There appears to be a 5mm mass growing between his eyes and mouth and extends into the roof of his mouth. Is there any way to know what this is without a biopsy? Is there any treatment? Could is just be a granuloma or infection? Any help would be appreciated. No other fish seem affected and he continues to eat well and is acting normally. I have had him for about 2 years and do not see any other lesions on his body. Thanks.
