Dwarf Lionfish Feeding Questions

Howdy,

I'm considering getting a dwarf lionfish for my 36 gallon reef tank.

I know they eat inverts and live food. It sounds like frozen food is possible, but not ideal. So what's the easiest/best live food for them (that is if live food is best, and I'm not just way off) How often should they be fed? I've read a very wide range of food options on these guys and I'd like another opinion.

Thanks,

Stay away from completely freshwater feeders (e.g. goldfish, rosy red minnows, etc.). Stick with brackish to salt food such as ghost shrimp, mollies, and damsels. Ghost shrimp and mollies are probably your best bet. However, do try to get them to feed on frozen food. That would overall be best for them.

yes, make sure and be persistant with them on the frozen food. It somes take a few days, some times a few weeks. just keep at it.
