Terrible pic of my avenger, its does not want to be documented
Pretty happy with this set of pictures, the colours are an accurate representation of what I see. People who have seen the tank can chime in to let me know if I am close or not.
I think I may finally have the WB part of my D90 down, but a long way to go. Didnt even break out the macro lens as I am too lazy to get the tripod out and set the timer......
Tank is cruising along with little changes.
Trying to keep my alk at 8 but it does wander down as demand increases, I test once a week and buffer up at that time
Calc has been low 350-380 but have buffered up steadily and increased the pumps and now am at 420 for the last few readings
Mg I havent checked lately but with other readings it must be close
Temp is 79 to 80 every day.
Light schedule is a bit on the long side and have thought about cutting it down some but have not yet
Feed like a maniac (really I feed alot) sometimes up to 6 cubes a day of PE Mysis plus pellet and flake, the biopellets are still online and need a resupply in the next few weeks
25g WC every week to two weeks when I remember
Bubble algae has started to make a comeback so will have to get on that again soon, I dont think you can see much in the pics but its there. Always there. Also have a few Aptasia, just cannot get down to the last one, friggin cocka-roaches!

I have made every mistake in the book at least 2 times lol
Patience and maintenance and you can accomplish lots of good things. I always wanted a packed SPS tank, the guys on this board are directly responsible!
Not that I am there yet but if I can keep everything stable for another year I think my goal will have been reached !

It takes a while but since the tank has started to fill in a bit I like them even more, I get really good flow because of the three legs touching the ground

Thanks Jr, I do run pellets, have tried several brands and none seem and better or worse than another. Right now I run .5 to 1L of vertex pellets

What an awesome display. I bet this looks SUPER BEAUTIFUL in person. I'd spend a whole day just looking at each and every one of those SPS in that grand tank of your!
