It's so hard to get a perspective of how large this tank is. I like that you used really big rocks for the scape. Really impressed that you built the tank yourself too! Do you have any sand sifting stars in there? On that size tank, you could probably add 4-5 safely.

Thanks Guys.
The corals are growing. Softies faster than the few sticks I have. One hammer I got 6 months ago had 2 heads now its got 8.
No sand sifting stars. Just a few stars that come on stuff. I have a sand sifter goby and the mess it makes is why you will see white sand all over the rocks and coral. Its a messy eater.
Ya today I think Im going to dunk the camera and try to get some close ups without reflection. I dont have a selfie stick. I will have to hold it or craft up something. Maybe stick a ruler in there for perspective. I took a few shots before they opened up this morning. Have not had time to get them off the camera.
Its a pain with a new laptop that only has usb3. I dont have the right cable.I dont have a card reader for usb3. The gopro app will not allow for blue tooth transfer. So I have to use the old computer then thumb drive it to get it on the new one. I would post from the old computer but its a bit off when connecting to these new fangled web sites. blah blah blah woe is me

Haha, inconveniences. I remember using a scrap piece of acrylic to attach the plastic gopro connector. It wasn't fancy put got the job done. I have to dig mine out and get some early stages of the tank.

Gonna have to break down and get a stick. I cant hold it steady leaned over and into the tank.

Had my first snail hatch out last night. Too soon to tell the type. Sponges are starting to appear in the tank. Some purple, some white. Added some dendros and 1 sun coral. Have to get used to hand feeding the sun. Bonus to this, is now since my duncan is right next to it, any left overs I feed to it.

Got a nem today. In QT now.

Tank update ....well fuge update
The fuge worked with reverse flow. I somehow received a batch of red flatworms that were un-killable by normal means. So after a year of looking at red spots all over the fuge i decided to go a different route. The fuge tank is now going to become a rock nem tank. Its all set up wait ing for 15 nems to arrive. Just so it didnt look so bare i got 2 decorations. Out of focus. I really need to get a macro lens.
