Dying chalices

I am not sure if this is a beginning of a huge problem in my tank or what however i acquired about 10 chalices in september. they were all growing and doing fine until the beginning of december. At this time i started to notice that 3 of them started receding. Those two are now dead, and 2 others have started receding. The other 5 look great and are doing fine. All other corals in my tank seem okay. WHat could be the problem?

What are your parameters? Where are you placing them?

Is it possible that once they all started growing they started needing more alk and calcium than your system could give them? Just a thought

I will check params once i get home tonight. They are all placed mid to low in the tank. They might need more calcium and alk, i dont know. i will test for params later.
