Sorry, I meant beach replenishment due to erosion...didn't clarify this well enough. This is a serious issue when you think of the biolkogical factors and unnatural nesting grounds for animals. The erosion itsself is caused by the earth itself and my concerns were focussed incorrectly. My bad.

yeah, damn I get in a rut when I see that going on, but I got ya. It angers me that those folks/businesses buy up the land and develop it. It angers me more when these people want other people to pay for dumping millions of dollars worth of sand to protect their bad investment. It angers me even more when they get someone who cannot even afford a vacation to the beach to underwrite thier insurance (that citizens insurace state run thing). grrrr

yeah, I am a third gen floridian....can you tell?

I got a solution, let the erosion take out the houses and hotels, then have the state fine them big money for polluting the ocean and beach.....

Well since the politicians are funded by these people who buy stuff on the beach you know that one will never happen. We have to keep in mind the Politics still means

Poli - Many
Tics - Blood sucking creatures.

You don't believe me look it up. They are just living up to their names.
