For anyone looking to get into a cone skimmer for a small to medium sized system at a reduced cost, we now have the E-shopps cone skimmer ready to ship out.
This skimmer has a footprint 9.5" x 8", and will fit in those smaller areas that a lot of these new cones won't get into yet. The skimmer utilizes an Aquabee 2000/1 pump with a pinwheel impeller. We have also gotten word that a new meshwheel upgrade is on the way direct from Eshopps.
I have been testing this skimmer on a heavily loaded 100g sps system and the unit has been performing very well so far!
