Earl May in ames

Appatently the earl may in ames is starting to carry some saltwater, they just started I saw a few bags that they had special ordered for some customers, but they have what appears to be a 20L going with some little chromis/damsels in it for cycling.

They said that they are getting all their fish shipments on fridays so next friday could be a good time to go in and look if you are interested!

Thought I would share the news to anybody that doesn't want to always drive to des moines, or go to an anonomous place in ames to get their live stock.

They said that they probably weren't going to be getting lots of equipment in, but they will probably have some healthier looking hardy fish. And since it's in ames that's really good for me!

Oh, for shame :(

That will be interesting to see, Earl May generally has a decent collection of freshwater fish. One 20L doesn't hold much though...maybe they'll expand if the first tank is successful.

I think the interest is there with the Earl May employees, if they sell enough to justify expanding their selection I'm sure they'll have more in the future.

I plan on going in there and entertaining some fish. I just would like to see a place actually "care" for their fishies in ames. I think that ryan is right that the 20L isn't much now but if demand increases they will probably upgrade. Who knows they might even start selling RR tanks, that would be a bonus to me!
