its just black egg crate. You are just seeing the 22k's reflecting off of it a bit, as the egg crate was brand new...

22k T5's are all im running these days. They are a little more blue than a radium 400 mh, but not nearly as blue as actinics.
Ive been successfully growing all varieties of SPS under them as well, to give you an idea of the PAR of them.
Pics are only white balanced and sharpened.
Some exposure recovery, but never any saturation adjustments of any kind.
The 22k's have really colored up my corals. It took a few months, the results speak for themselves.

Yes, that be some poppin color! I run the brightest, highest color temp lights in my club and my colors are strong. I was surprised to see even higher color temp bulbs listed and from what I see here your colors are more intense than mine. Grrrr! I mean, nice job!
I have a hard time picking a favorite, but I think it would be the BPC Flamethrower chalice (pic #1), with the Fruit Punch acan and Raptors Peace acan second and third. Not that the others are shabby by any stretch of the imagination.
Good photos too.
How long, what wattage and how many of those T5s are you running?

I run them from 1pm to 11pm
Flame Thrower is a favorite of mine as well. The desert sunset is down right offensive its so bright though...When I first got it and had the bag floating in the tank I almost cried....=)

Yes, that Desert Sunset is a remarkable piece. I'd call it "Neon Vegas Hooker" or something like that.
I know the feeling of being super excited about a piece just seeing in in the bag. It happens for me very rarely and usually is a good indicator of much fabulousity to be had in the tank.
I'd also hazard a guess that you are fortunate enough to have either a bountiful budget for acquiring fine corals or a connection in the industry who is taking fine care of you!

Those are great pics you have there. You sure there isn't any post processing outside the camera? Reason I ask is all the pictures are in focus on the coral itself and the background is very blurred. I know a short F-Stop can do some of this but it looks a little more processed than that. Some of the plugs have flakes of blue on them as well. What kind of a lense do you use?

The reason the background is blurred is because the coral is positioned at the very top of the tank, and there is nothing below it for about 12"
The brokeh of the Nikon 105mm Macro is excellent.
The blue specks you are referring to are likely small air bubbles, as they were one by one transfered into position from another tank.
All the EXIF data is in tact. Feel free to check it out.
