Hi! I live in Daytona and was thinking of taking a lil daytrip maybe see a few LFS. Maybe there`s 4 or 5 kinda on the eastern part of OTown? Make a day of runnin around and looking.

I strongly strongly recommend Sea in the City ( seainthecity.com ) and the sister store to ocean's blue is in Waterford Lakes near UCF .. which is pretty much east orlando its called Aquaria Studio but i forget what their website for it is. maybe a few can pitch in for their website\address? Its dangerously on my way home from school.

I would do,

Ocean Direct
Seven Seas
Sea in The City
Oceans Blue or Aqua Studio (Same owner, basically same items)
and maybe Fishy Business

Not exactly all east orlando, but coming from Daytona I could give you some awesome directions to hit them all in a straight shot, with the exception of seven seas, It's a little out of the way. BUT if you happened to need anything from aquaticeco.com You could hit up seven seas and aquatic eco.

Man you could spend a whole day in Ocean Blue and Sea in the City alone.

Agreed Indeed!

I just made a trip there and I agree. great new place. I don't grill them with questions, just prices and they are pretty good. The only other store, of course that I know of, in the area that sells Ocean's Blend. I would add then too the list too, and they sould be on your way. It's right next to I-4.

In case you cant find any info on their store, since its only been open a week, you go east on Lake Mary Blvd, Make a right at the first light Lake Emma Rd, Then make a Left into the turn lane about 1/4 mile down the road. Its in a big shoppping center. When you enter the shopping center its the 3rd or 4th store from the end.

Their coral prices are pretty nice, from my experiences. Some of their fish are low, some are high. My wife was happy with her 9$ firefish.

Yeah pet safaris selection is weak, but their display tank is definitely a sight.
everytime i go in they are pretty fully stocked-huh-i must go at the same time and just not realize it-they also have live brime. :D

Pet safari isn't the cleanest but they get in some real oddities, I got my black ribbon eel there, fish bowl and fishy business also in longwood and lake mary are nice as well as reef works, you can hit them all up if you are coming north you go reef works->fishbow->fishy bussiness->pet safari no more than 3 miles between them and only because reef works is a lil out. Sea in the city is really the only decent orlando LFS I've found. Ocean blue and aquaria have a lot of nice stuff, if you want to pay 2-3 times what you would everywhere else.
