i have a pair of saddleback's and the female keeps picking at the rocks and every once in a while goes after a hermit... my other clows never did this.... why does she do it?

well if youve had them for 4 days idk. let somone with more expierience chime in but normally when clowns are cleaning a part of the rock and get more aggressive towards things closer to them it means they are about to lay eggs.

I would say that they are just adjusting to the new surroundings, I don't think that they ready to spawn yet, but good luck with them.

Clowns are omnivores. They will eat algae, pods, and all sorts of stuff off the rocks. Some will even keep their favorite area of the rocks picked clean. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are about to lay eggs.
