Ok, I know that it's been mentioned that there is a seller on Ebay that makes an acceptable RO/DI setup for about $100.

There are 4 different options on Ebay, and I'm wondering which is which.

many of us own this model and they are very nice for the price.
I bought this model A year ago and have no complaints at all.

although I added A diaphram pump to mine, another consideration you might wanna think about. it helps alot with rejection rate.

i also use a Aquasafesystems unit from ebay. 0 TDS for about 9 months now. another good one on ebay is Filterdirect!

for the ones you have listed:
1. DI unit is too small, will need to be changed often
2. to much $$ but does have the DOW membrane
3. to much $$ and will not produce 200 gpd!
4. DI unit is too small, will need to be changed often, and its not refillable.

I just ordered mine from Melev. He will be around when I need help or parts for it thats why I paid a little extra. Also he is serious into the hobby and very helpful here on R/C

Filter direct is very good off of ebay, check them out!

Melev would be my only choice out of any mentioned so far. My first choice is www.airwaterice.com Typhoon III with www.buckeyefieldsupply.com 75 GPD premium series and www.purelyh2o.com Optima close behind. All three use true Dow Filmtec RO membranes, not nanofilters like some already mentioned. They also all use full size 10" vertical refillable DI filters that can hold up to 24 oz of resin. The typhoon also comes with a TDS meter and pressure gauge along with other features.
