Echotech MP40w (w/ES modifications) for active ARKSC members

I’m selling a number of things that I thought I would need for a conversion of my 180g to reef, but will not (at least for a few years). So I’m offering them first at a discount to active ARKSC members. I will be asking AT LEAST 15% more a week from now on the regular Buy/Sell forum if I don’t sell this to an active member first.

So, until next weekend I’ve got a one (1) used Echotech MP40w. But I’m bundling this with a brand new MPw to MP40w ES Upgrade Kit (new in-the-box kit to turn this MP40w into an MP40w ES), PLUS an MP40 Wet-side Repair Kit (also in the unopened Echotech packaging). Not that his kit EVER had any issues. I just purchased this Upgrade kit and the Wet-side kit to be able to say this pump was a close as reasonably possible to a brand new pump. The only difference is that it was used for a little over a year, and I can tell you from personal experience that it is NOT one of the noisy ones. It’s quieter than my MP10. And that’s before any possible improvement from replacing the wet side.

I’m asking $270. That price assumes you will pick up at my house.

Before you reply to this “active members” offer, an active member is an ARKSC member who’s dues payments are current. If you ARE a member, but aren’t “active” because you haven’t paid dues since April, you can go to www.arksc.org and use the Paypal button to do it there. It’s only $10. And if there’s any question about whether you are a member, they are listed on our same ARKSC website.

Thanks pal! Nothing I'd enjoy more than to donate it to a deserving advanced student. But this is funding my new reef project. But advice remains free. That and a buck or two will get you a cup of coffee in the morning.
